So I am building yet another character. This time I'm toying around with the idea of a drow assassin. I don't have the attention span to use the character build planner, but it's a totally basic build anyway... Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Having built and gimped countless characters in the past, I have gotten into the habit of throwing my builds to the wolves (forumites) and seeing if they get torn apart or get the stamp of approval of "no seriously glaring, definitely-gimping flaws" (i.e. "viable")

14rog/2rng, Drow

Str 14
Dex 18
Con 12
Int 16
Wis 8
Cha 10

2 ranger for early wand use and twf for free, if the 2 points of assassinate DC are going to be very important then I can forgo the ranger levels.

Feats: toughness, weapon finesse, otwf, itwf, imp crit pierce, gtwf

So viable? Or wolf-food?

I was thinking of something similar but was planning on staying pure rogue but I am not sure if the dc diffence will be important or not

Yeah that's the main reason I posted it for input... What's the point of being a super-stealthy ninja assassin if everything makes its save against it?

I have a 16 drow acrobat right now she has a base 16 int I might respec her enhancements and see how I like it, her str is a little lower but with assasinate that dont matter since she is finesse anyways
