    Default Guildhouses

Things I would like to see.....

The option to obtain a Guildhouse whether it be by virtue of creating a guild or purchasing with Turbine points.
Instance template based on the portable hole with upgrade purchase options.
    Basic Guildhouse - Innkeeper.

-- Only accessible by guild members --

    Upgrades...

-Guild inventory keeper with binding alter (guild bound items that return to guildkeeper if guildmember tries to destroy item or quits guild).
Guild vendors lease guild bound items for 1/10th value to members. profits generate Turbine points that leaders can withdrawl or use to purchase upgrades from Guildmaster.
Only Leaders can bind or unbind items (more collectible usage hmm.)

-House P Advisor - can teleport individuals to different destinations. also offers House P trinket upgrade that allows user to teleport back to guildhouse (2x/rest).

-Vendor merchant booths- varying upgrades to expand the merchants in each guildhouse

    -Combat room

    -House K banker

    -Mailbox

-Shared Chest that can be deposited into and withdrawn from (Value and capacity limits)

    -Cosmetic upgrades etc...

All those ideas and more plausible with a Guildhouse and varying degrees of "guild maturity."

i totaly agree with what the OP has to say, most if not all of the sujestions are solid ones. Player housing would take up alot of developer time, and in the end is probably no worth it - Guild housing is deffinatly the way to go. With guild housing it would be an awesome place to hold guild meetings, trade and do guild specific events, or simply just to chat it up as you wait for a group to fill. It should be based on the portable hole design, as prevouisly mentioned - this means that it will NOT take up room in the actual city. There should be a couple deffrent versions IMO, each version differing in size more than anything, with the bigger version ovouisly only being awarded to the larger guilds. Simply put, the idea of Guild housing is far better than player housing in nearly every way, good sujestion, and +1 rep to the OP.

Great ideas. I look forward to guild houses in game and you have some very good ideas. I do not think all shoudl be based on turbine points, some should be based on guild maturiaty (length of time on server) and possibly guild quality (they get to access _______ after their guild completes a Reaver Raid, DQ, etc or once "X" number of guildies have "X" amount of favor).

Also, I agree the template could be based on the portable hole or another bar and you could even have a PVP area that could be purchased or gained via some method.

I too look for more content but I also enjoy time with my guildies and an area to "call home" would be a plus for the game as a whole. I really like the idea of a guild loan system as well as the turbine point idea for guild bound items.

Some day maybe but there are many more things I would like to see first

    1. content

    2. content

    3. races

    4. content

    5. classes

    6 content

    7. content

You get the idea I dont really get the point of guild houses in games like ddo or wow

in swg they made sense you could have player cities and other people or just yourselves could visit them and see how the owner had decroated them. with them being private I just dont see the point.

If you want a Guild house go play LoTRo or Guildwars.

Wasnt gonna touch this thread since even though I agree with the Op's sentiment this is the umpteenth time someone has asked for some form of housing.

But it never ceases to amaze me how other players will say "oh go play another game" or Id rather see content.

You guys really need to step back and think.

    A. Do you really want to tell a paid subscriber to leave for wanting something other mmo's have when were going free to play and hoping others will find the game worthy of joining the paid subscribers? If you can say yes to that then I hope you have 2+ more accounts and are really funding this game. </rolls eyes>

    B. While new quests/races/classes are needed and wanted when all said and done if they do not come out with something to get us passed 20 or burn out of ideas they will need time sinks till they can come up with plausible ways to introduce epic levels. After awhile leveling up just becomes repetitive and I know a few people who have played just about every class combo they can think of and then some.

Point blank the game needs other things to do besides quest/level/loot. They are bringing in a store that they hope to make money with. It makes more sense now then ever for them to integrate some form of housing into the game. I can see it as a good revenue earner which means they can afford to take on projects that will bring the class/race/content some of you guys are clamoring for. Just looking at it from a business perspective not even a gamer most can see how the game would and could benefit from ideas like this.

I would like to see guild halls here. And yes I did play Guild Wars and didn't like the battle system but the guild halls were great. In that game in PvP we either attack the other guilds hall or defended ours. It was fun and we earned points for the wins that went to upgrading the guild hall.

I see no point for housing in this game and never will because the housing system in swg spoiled me and unless they can equal that I dont care to see it, but I dont care if others ask for it I am just going to ask for what I want more which is content(quests) and more races and classes.

but your right telling someone to leave for asking for this is silly

I like it ... after we get the content rolling again, I am all for it. Guilds need something to work together on and for, in addition to just being a grouping mechanism.
