Duo Question

I finally got my wife to agree to game with me. I am trying to figure out a good duo. I would probably need to put her on an easy class to use considering this will be her first MMO. I was thinking of doing a Fighter/Bard duo, her being the fighter. I'd want to do something support that can do buffs, heals, and whatever else.

Any suggestions on a good duo and an easy class for her to get into the game with would be appreciated.

I would recommend doing a Warforged duo party. Have one play the Fighter or Barbarian type and the other go with a Wizard or Wizard/Rogue combo.

Arcane casters can heal warforges, cast buffing spells, and still have some options for offensive magic.

i think a duo build would need to include the skills and abilities for completion for mosts quests..

That being said, i would thing a wizard/rogue mix and a wizard/barbarian arcane psycho build would compliment each other well...the tough part would be getting the wife to play a warforged. you could both heal each other, the rogue wizard can do the traps and be more max intel for cc and nukage, the barb wiz can be the buffer.. both could use arcane wands and scrolls ... a double dose of firewalls, solid fogs , hastes, inviz, jump...
