Heh, yeah, there just wasn't time in this week's show to have a guest. I actually recorded bits and pieces of the non-ATD stuff over the past few days as I've been really busy with work and other stuff. Also, I was out of the house for much of Saturday, so that's why it didn't go up until very late.
Sure seems like it! A good idea is a good idea.
I know! I had no idea that that answer was coming and I almost needed a break to dance around the room and cheer.
The ATD is recorded over Skype, as is all of the other group conversations in DDOcast. Basically someone sets up a conference call over Skype.
Can you remember which one had really bad audio? I've tried to make it sound as good as possible and can't think of any that really sounded bad.
In respect to the myDDO stuff LOTRO has had it for about 6 months, and they have been betaing api type stuff which will allow you to pull your character info/guild rosters onto your own web site etc
see the link below for an idea of what they have done

This if enabled for DDO would tie in perfectly to things like the character planner or the crafting tools etc.

I bet you are right. Trust me, DDOcast would never (well, probably never*) release audio of that quality. I would have postponed the chat until it was fixed if I had done it. I let a certain amount of sound issues slide, but that made my ears bleed!
*It would have to be the most major piece of audio in DDOcast history for me to even consider it, and I'd apologize profusely before-hand...
Awesome interview thanks for all the work. Sucks about the half Orcs though. I guess the news is the same about the Druids as well.

Ah, gotcha. In that case, it seems that if a race that could get a strength bonus and not be hugely unbalancing is desired, the Eberron choices are Half Orc or Shifter (granted . . . only certain shifters could get a STR bonus). In my own experience (PnP), half orcs still get played . . . especially half orc druids in Eberron (gatewarden types), but I see how that complicates the issue. I'm not sure what the solution is here. I am only fairly certain that half-elves are not it. (not that you suggested they were)

Been around pregnant women much? It doesn't take much of an excuse for a doc to say "you're on bed rest." Heck, my sister was in bed for the last month of her last pregnancy! (and that's nothing compared to some...)
Two weeks early = really big belly and low manuverability.

Best part was the question about large devil scales, they STILL think the drop rate is the same, this just makes me laugh. If this is true then how come I have pulled one in my last 42 shrouds. If what they say is true I am 6 scales behind schedule, they need to look into this more, or just increase the drop rate considering scales are the most commonly used ingredient. Most weapons made are mineral 2, lightning strike, and radiance, all of which take 4-6 scales, more than any other ingredient.
