I think I'm starting to get this phrase. It's a lot like how when you're walking somewhere and you run into an old friend and most people begin with "hey, how are you?" or something similar.

I think A-O just begins with "Hey, Once Again, you fail."

Is that pronounced.... "Once AGAIN, you fail..." or is it "Once again, you FAIL" or maybe (Captain Kirk style), "ONCE..... <long pause>.... AGAIN..... <long pause>.... you FAIL...."

3 damage... correct. Holy burst does favor khopeshes but fortification nerfs that benefit as well. 12 APs is expensive but you will still have enough to get all the good stuff.

Holy burst works even if the mob has fortification.

I did some calcs (9 actually) and this is the results:
Khopesh DA DA no DM
0% fort 358 332 323
50% fort 322 312 303
100% fort 286 291 284


So even if the dwarf manages to get DM I without losing a point in str the human with khopesh is still ahead.

Conclusion: dwarfs are inferior.

Yes it does, the weapon's base damage doesn't change though. If the mob has heavy fort that is.

I still have friends that when I see them after a long absence that I usually greet with a friendly, "These Micronians have absolutely no concept of space warfare tactics!" -- or, "Hey Metal" (a Cyberpunk RPG game reference).

Then again, there was this one time when I greeted a friend of my wife's by saying "how you doing" while simultaneously, er, nudging her right breast...a lot like you'd shake somebody's hand.
