I thought with all the discussions about zerging and the merits of shield-use, I would start one of my Top 10 lists.

So here it is the sidekick, the supporting actor, the second in comand. Here they are.

Spock and Blackcat aren't really sidekicks. Both could, and did, carry their own in their respective genres.

Sidekicks aren't allowed to be nearly as whiny as Frodo usually was. I think they get fined by the union.
