I'm not really against what you wrote. You just wrote it in response to a question of "why is this an exploit."

And in the typical MMO sense... it's not an exploit. It's not cheating, nor a bannable defense. Just have to be careful with loaded terms, because that's what people assume you mean when you start calling things exploits and people exploiters.

Its an ad hom. Rather than refute the merits of his argument, you attack Shores as not being qualified to raise the argument in the first place.

Hehe.. that's awesome. Completely wrong and stupid... but awesome.

You questioned why you should listen to him! You coward!

By the Gawdz the population of DDO has become saturated with _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

Some people prefer to waltz and some prefer the mosh pit. And rarely will the two be happy with the other's style. But for the waltzers to cry for a ban on pits is plain fr*cking cowardly.

I won't be caught in your ball room and I have never invited you into my pit. I don't want you there. So leave it alone.

Now im new to all this but as far as I can see there is no issue, if you put in LFM or LFG slow run or No Zergs then they wont join with you, if you want to do a timed run then put in Zerg please.

I don't know where all the venom is coming from imo a knob is a knob and if your running in a group with a knob then throw them out.
its more than just time runs but you seem to be getting the basic idea. Its also running hard quests without using 5o cure pots or half the charges on a clerics wand and being ready for the next quest we will run in a resonable amount of time. Its like driving in a world of green and yellow lights that are about to turn red (if you just keep moving your not really legally bound to stop).

A system is being added to the game that if you run ahead and get the attention of a buncha monsters but dont kill them, the game itself will attack you. Making you slower and the monsters both faster and stronger. Basicly to the point where the monsters can win just by some outside unseen force putting a buncha debuffs on you. Some say its a good thing (like putting traffic lights once per mile on highways), some say it suxs (kinda like having a speed limit on a race, which is silly)

That is a valid point. Exploiter needs to be a reserved term. I will now use the term Lag Acclerating General Express Retreater [L.A.G.E.R]

you seem to think all zergers are exploiters

the truth is soloing a mission with party members in it isn't what a zerger does.
I am sure to some kill counts are motivation but i would think the better ones know that kill count proves nothing same like PvP proves nothing knowledge of play area and the speed in which you can adapt to the challenges you face is where the pride comes in.

I find it funny that people like you can hate on someone without knowing what it is they are ... its like hating black people without ever seeing one or talking to one ... its stupid really ... but i guess it takes less intelligence hate then to understand.

know you know and knowing is half the battle.

someone decided that taking advantage of the mob-leashing mechanic is unethical?

    Heh. True. Myself included.

What I can't figure out, how is it that all these Zergers have so much idle time to waste...

HUH? I think you are all wrong.

Zerging is using mass amount of troop to overtake others. Think it started being used in video games in StarCraft.

I see 4 major game play styles.

    To me a Noob is:
a new player who lets you know he is new to the quest, game or class.
someone who can understand and follow instructions.
    someone who can learn.
someone who has not yet figured out his/her play style.
someone who asks reasonable questions. <where do I need to go next? Can I pull this lever? What does zerg mean in the LFM?>
a real treasure to the DDO community.

    To me a Zerger is:
Someone who knows the quest really well.
Someone who knows his/her toon's abilities really well.
someone who can help complete a quest quickly while not wasting time or resources.
a boon to a party. Not a hindrance.
considers time vs xp/loot when running quests.

    To Me a Protoss is:
Someone who knows the quest really well.
Someone who knows his/her toon's abilities really well.
someone who can help complete a quest while not wasting resources.
a boon to a party. Not a hindrance.
    considers completeness/xp/loot/ when running quests.

To me a Bad Player is:
Someone who does not follow instructions.
Someone who saw the LFM tag and still will not play to the style specified in the LFM.
someone who does not help complete a quest.
    someone who wastes group resources.
    a hindrance to the party.
does not consider the other 5 or 11 people in their group when running quests.
is better off as a soulstone.

I am a ZERGER and I am PROUD of it.
just to be fair i thought i would add a couple others

To me a [RPG)Role player is:
Someone who does follow the instructions of the leader
Someone who likes to read the dm text and mission information before starting each quest (cause if you arent reading it then its not being said to you and you dont hear it thus it doesnt make sence as a roll player not ot ready it every time.)
Someone who talks in character and whos actions are based on character alignment
Considers speed in which s/he plays before entering Pug groups regardless of fast or slow and knows his/her build well enough to stay in character while arguing play tact and strategy

To me a [PD] Perma Death player is
Someone who takes there time through dungeon carefull of traps and ambushes
Someone who knows alot about the game defense
Someone who has never died so level is a testament to there greatness rather then kill counts or raid items.
considers cleric skill and sell ability to keep ones self alive with the party memebers in the group or the play speed of the group to maximize survivability ratio

To me a [SnG] Slow n Go player is
Someone who reads every dm text and may or may not decide to read the story every time they get a quest.
Someone who believes that if the group isn't so close together that they can get mass heals while walking then you'll prolly wipe
Someone who wants to stop for heals and buffs after every fight regardless of number of bad guys fought or the current hps of party.
Considers speed of party before joining and will not rush forward to catch up with group even if they are only one left behind .. there pace is there pace period.

I am a zerger but have been the SnG'er and can be a protoss from time to time.
