    Default Monk Enhancements Question

Do the monk stat enhancements, for instance the wisdom increase, count towards your stats for stances? Trying to make a balanced monk with 18 in str, dex, con, and wisdom to be able to train all the stances to master/ultimate level.

Base unmodified stats (including level ups) and tomes count.

Other bonuses (e.g. a +6 dex item, or entering wind stance for +2 to dex) don't. It's pretty much the same as e.g. the INT 13 requirement for Combat Expertise.

I think - can't login right now to double check

Stat enhancements such as monk wisdom or elf dexterity count for the purposes of being able to take higher levels of stances, yes.

No. Base + Level Ups + Tomes.

Dwarves have the easiest time getting all 18s in Str/Dex/Con/Wis since they have a +2 Con and -2 Cha. Other characters take a -2 to one of those four stats, except Humans who are a wash.
