Solo the 2 Ice Dragons in Prey you Say?

*I did not solo the quest just the dragons. This was on Normal also

Pug group with Bastia, Ragman, Plorg, and Effin someone picked the wrong option when talking to the dragon by mistake, and started the fight with the 2 dragons. After some expletives they all took the DD. not a bad group, just someone had picked the wrong option I think when talking to the dragon, or at least I hope that was the case.

At first I just wanted to see how long I could last after all effort and ended up killing both after using 60 heal scrolls, 50 haste pots, 6 mana pots, 10 or so GH scrolls and bunch of other stuff. They also broke my GS weapon about 3/4 the way through the fight. The whole thing took about 1hr maybe more so ill never try that again for the BS loot. but not bad for a ranger, I would guess this would not be so hard for a WF caster with some mana pots but for a melee kinda' sweet no?

Really the AI for these is kinda ******** because you just need to run them in circles and there winged buffs saved my life i would say quite a few times, by blowing me away from them giving me time to heal my self. Still not easy and takes a long! long! time. Defiantly not worth the effort, and ill never do it again.

Congrats! That kind of dedication is always a pleasure to witness, even if at a distance here on the forums.

It's the silver-lining in the dragon's wing attack... I swear, sometimes I want to hit the dragon with a scorching ray or two during the boss fight for sending me to the other side of the cavern. It can be a bit of a stress-reliever to burn her and her girlfriend down afterward, although it's not something most PUGs want to take the time for.
