I know that from time to time player abilities get nerfed and that sometimes the npcs get upgrades,
but enough is enough!

Yesterday i was leveling my first toon on Khyber again and entered Taming the flames in house k.

Everything was going smooth and nice until i started fighting some fire elementals and i suddenly
sensed a strange smell in my room.
I looked around and tried to find the source of this stench which smelled like singed gum.
The next thing was my computer going down with a sound like fwooosh and smoke coming out
of my bigtower. The power supply was toasted!

I had to cough up around 100 Euros to repair my computer today!

I don't know how those darn fire ellies did it, but i will eradicate them from the face of Xendrik!!!

That sucks...but hey Time For An Upgrade!!!

Last time my power supply blew I had to make sure I got a new
mobo so it would fit ok....and of course that means my old processor
wouldnt fit onto it...so had to upgrade that.

And wouldnt you believe it....the new mono took a different kinda RAM??
Another upgrade.

Well at least thats the story my wife got

my wife seems to believe that one of my harddrives took damage too and i had to replace it with a new (bigger) one

P.S.: Last time my rig didn't boot i was unsure if the power supply or the gfx card was to blame... i played it safe and upgraded both.
From that perspective it might be a good thing i blew through 4 power supplys in the last 2 1/2 years...
