The only thing you smell is yourself. I am a developer (not in gaming industry). I really don't think the developers of this game are malicious, evil and out to get everyone. They are just people too, doing their job, trying to make this game the best they can and for it to continue to survive.
If you think otherwise, buy a tinfoil hat.

PS read the dev post linked in my sig, and tell me this guy is an evil malicious dev.

We've pointed out several already.
And you reply with " Oh well, sure, there's that...but that really wasn't a lie, blah, blah, blah.
Look dude; No one here is buying your particular brand of ********. You want to swing from Turbine's set? Feel free.
Just don't expect the rest of us to follow suit.

I'm a huge Turbine Fanboi, and I'm not happy with what has happened in the last 8 months. Too many renegotiations and mislead or cancelled vectors. It may be a way for them to hold the game up for a little longer with the F2P & change in focus, but many things have been promised 1-3 years and were just axed this past April or forgotten entirely with red tape.
I attibute that to someone in marketting or legal vetoing any dev attempt to talk to the playerbase. Devs are like players, they want it to work, and work well. Spin usually comes from someone else (re: Pointy Haired Bosses).
Doesn't make me any happier about it, just means I want to push the **** uphill to said Pointy Haired Boss rather than on the actual developers.

Agreed. It's not the developers -- it's definitely the top hats making bad calls on a good game.
Doesn't anyone recall SW:NGE? Smedley anyone? Turbine, you got a Smedley problem. Please... don't be that guy.
Yeah grazing hits is a nerf that affects AC builds. It also goes against the very nature of the D&D combat mechanics and RUINS the game. If they want everyone to be created equal why even bother with Char creation at all! Lets all be 13 stat 20 Ac 8000/Hp drones. That should make sword and boring fighters happy!

When the playerbase is expecting a mod around XMass...and it doesn't happen.
Then they're expecting it around the anniversary...and it doesn't happen.
Then they're expecting it around the Beta announcement...and it doesn't happen.
...you are forced to one of two possible conclusions:
1) They are so out of touch with the playerbase that they didn't know these were expectations.
or
2) They were well aware of player expectations, but chose not to comment.
Neither of those options are particularly flattering to Turbine's management staff.

3) There is no Mod 9 - It is a myth that will never see the light of day past Lammania
And on the eigth day god went for a beer.
And on the ninth day he was still in the pub with his mates, and is going to be in big trouble when Mrs god finds him.

All I have ever wanted was the truth whatever ever it was, I have grown very tired of broken promises and delays that are so far past the mark it is insulting. Lag has been an issue for so long and now behold the answer is here yet again. Time will tell but I think we all know the answers already, don't we.

Hilarious Princess....Sorry your life is so medicore after all this time..Lol, you are scared of a farmer? with a tractor....?
could be crappy coding in the DDO client program. No I did not say your computer is crappy I am talking about the client program not what runs it. If it can't handle what the shroud is feeding it then no amount of good hardware on the server or your pc is gonna help.
If missing a projected release date is a lie, there is not a single code monkey, project manager or functional analyst alive who isn't a bold-faced liar. Whenever I see a release date for anything, I immediately add 2-6 months because that is what it will take to realize that it is too buggy and can't be released without revision. Then I assume that it will still be buggy when released and will have at least 3 updates to fix the bugs that fixing the bugs created.
Oh, and that is from one of those lying functional analysts, so please assume that none of what I said is true or based on any kind of real-life experience over the last decade.
