In regards to your comment about gold farming, it's illegal to sell plat in the US. Turbine could sue you.

More importantly, the amount of money gained per hour is ridiculous. There is a reason as to why it's limited to countries with big problems of poverty. As for gold farming not having an impact, I'll argue that it's because you don't perceive it but it's there. The presence of "gold farmers" is one cause of the constant inflation in games.
