Allot of these songs take me back to when my second home was the handball quarts and the concrete baseball field that I learned to play ball on while we wore wife beaters & decks and courted females all day long. This might be the first post I've seen from you that leaves absolutely no doubt where your from!..Fellow handball player from back in the day...we used to hustle games in Coney Island!...nobody ever saw us comming. I was a long haired metal head and my partner was a guido!...we used to clean up tho!

Ha..Ya man U gotta know him check out his picture, everyone calls him Zane in Coney Island/BKLYN.. But ya man my favorite places to play are along the Beaches cause thats where the best competition/Players are in my opinion. Far Rockaway not that much no, but I have played there.. I played allot in Orchard Beach in the Bronx and on West 4th NYC. I used to play tournaments all summer long but not any more. I am up in the Bronx allot since I visit my PoP often in upper Manhattan so I cross over and its just a 25 min drive or so to Orchard Beach and Ill play a game or two.

I am still in good health 5'11 185 lbs give or take and Ill be 41 this Aug.I still can play pretty well but not up to tournament level. Tho If I put my mind to it I am sure I can get it all back. Duke you see those Old men in Coney Island that place the ball man? LMAO! they don't run up and down the court they make there opponent run up and down..

I used to be able to cut the ball and make it just roll down the wall or bounce so hard to the right there was no chance of a return!...those days are long gone Heh Orchard beach...my wife is from city island and her family still lives there so we go there ALL the time!...alot of fun for like mothers day take like 3 hours to get over that little bridge!

Handball is for people that can't afford raquets. Kinda the same reason why soccer is the most popular sport in the world (yet not in the USA where we have luxuries).

And Racket ball, k there Posh , Id take a handball game any day over racket ball. Handball was energetic fun and took skill if you wanted to hang with the big dogs. I miss the games we had where youd be exhausted your hands throbbed from the ricochet but you had bragging rights if ya didnt suck.

Man I miss those days seems like forever ago.

Hey Staten Island girl.. Allot of my friends and family have moved to Staten Isle from BK. I am sure U must of heard allot of Italians,Irish etc. have made the move from all over BK unto the Isle.
