i've recently noticed a spike in the number of pikers in raids, especially in shroud. some of the behavior i noted are:

1. not smacking at portals (roamers exempt) in part 1
2. not running waters in part 3
3. standing around in part 2 and 5

possibly the reason is that we are so saturated with shroud that people get bored of the raid. spare us the trouble, if you are bored, dun drag down the party

i've also notice piker activity in vod and hound. one can observe easily the piker running just behind the group in both the subterranean as well as in hound while doing the round. in vod, these would be the people who pretend to swing at stuff

i've heard some fantastic reasons as well
1. having dinner
2. need to make business call
3. need to get beer... from the store

play as a team and contribute, try that in the groups i'm in, you never gonna get into my groups

I would just like to say...that I ate dinner, last night, in a combined Shroud and Hound run and I contributed.

If the group is killing stuff so fast you don't even get there that's not dragging the group down, that's just a badass group. My first hound I only got to shoot at a handful of enemies and never even TOUCHED anything I could kill once we got in. I hate when three people have 90% of the kills in a raid or group but don't care until they run in to something they can't handle without waiting for the rest... then suddenly the rest are 'pikers' when they die.

Never experienced it myself, but I've seen a lot of people lag behind the rest of the group by a matter of minutes. Some may be BS, but most seemed real based on other things one can observe.

Happened to me last night in part 5. We were getting hella spikes in 4 and 5. Suddenly I kill Harry, turn around and see 5 other peeps swinging furiously at dead air.

I really wish I had thought to grab a screenie of it.

I guess I should've used a different word, I didn't necessarily mean LAGGING behind as in the lag is so bad, as I meant goofing off/piking so much that you missed out on a portal to beat on. Lag does make sense, but I've never had mine so bad that that happened, even last night in two shroud runs. 1st one was kinda laggy, but the 2nd with Babygirl and her group was laggy as hell. We had a couple moments where the screen froze for everyone for about 10 seconds.

Well, if I have to service 11 other people in a raid, I need to get started on part 1. While I'm a multi tasker, I can't do EVERYTHING. Then when I get going their eyes roll up inside their head and they forget where they are and they're not beating a portal either.

Don't forget about the rather annoying portal-peepers. Always be trying to peep at your portal and whatnot.
