Seriously, who gives a ****? Did anyone on these forums know him? I'm guessing not. It's just not noteworthy or newsworthy to me that a celebrity died. There are way more important things in the world happening right now.

If you would read your links... This does not look good and is exactly what I said. He paid off Chandler's Family, therefore Jordan Chandler refused to testify which effectively closes a criminal hearing.

OK, I get it. Accused = Guilty. I will ignore the fact that a person with millions of dollars and a abnormal personality was targeted by a bunch of money-grubbing low-lifes and crucified by the press and public without ever being convicted of any wrong-doing.

If an insurance company settles a case out of court for any reason, no one ever bats an eyelid. It tweaks My sensibilities that Rumor + Inuendo (sp?) = FACT/Guilty! Was MJ a strange individual? Hell Yes! Does the fact that He settled out of court mean that He did what He was accused of? NO, NO, A THOUSAND TIMES NO! Why is it so easy to believe that MJ did these heinous things and so hard to believe that someone could lie about it?

Hey, I'm not saying that I know for a fact what happened, but unless You were there in the room at the time, Neither does anyone else. Hate to say it, but African American + Filthy rich = TARGET OF PERSECUTION. I could cite dozens of examples, but I'm sure You all can think for 2 minutes and come up with enough examples for Yourselves.

I find it strange that the parents of the child from 1993 would not pursue a criminal conviction despite being paid millions of dollars in an out of court settlement. I know if it was My child, I would not want any alleged criminal to be free to do to others what was allegedly done to My child. In fact, I would feel an obligation to continue the case no matter what. It makes Me wonder if the original premise of the allegation was valid at all. If any amount of money can change the opinion of the parents, I have to question the truth of the situation. After all, if the allegations were true, They could have postponed the civil trial until after the criminal trial and collected anyway, right?

All this has obviously irked Me in a way that I had to voice My opinion. My original post was essentially a "Do unto others" comment, but the opinions of some have brought Me to here.

Let the man rest in peace. No one is perfect, and under a microscope, anyone's life is subject to criticism.

It doesnt matter what race or religion he is. I personally like everyone equally, when I first meet them. I certainly do not judge people by the color of their skin. But I DO judge people by their actions.

This is not just a situation of proving multiple cases of child rape. "Public court" has seen threw this. What we DO KNOW IS FACT IS he has admitted on many public forums that he loves children and spends 1 on 1 time with them. He's done countless TV interviews with children on his lap. He built them an amusement park in his backyard. He arranged MANY 1 on 1 meetings with THOUSANDS of other people's children... for elongated stays... including overnights... completely away from their parents.. and ADMITTING he has SLEPT WITH YOUNG BOYS. This was a sick individual.
