Extend on a KotC?

Am I the only one that thinks 4mins of Zeal is awesome? Am I the only one with Extend on their pure palys?

Its very nice to have Extend, but it's hard to afford for a non-human pure pally.

Level 16 gives 6 feat slots. TWF takes 3, Khopesh and Power Attack take 2 more. The last feat is a struggle between Extend, Toughness, and OTWF.

I went dwarf, no need for Khopeshs. I have DF to boost me tohit if needed, so no need for OTWF. I'll take toughness next mod if I need to.

I had it, switched it out....just a matter of playstyle as I don't mind constant button mashing for df, zeal, dm, ds, smites, etc....I guess if I were smarter or had a better computer set up I'd try and make a macro that would do all three of those automatically...but I'm not.

Will look at how the game looks for the next four levels and maybe put it back in at lvl 18. It is nice to have.

hehe, when I got him to 16 that's the first thing I did, wrote a macro to reduce key mashing.

You would take extend, toughness or OTWF over IC:Slashing?

Couldnt fit it in on my drow pali... seriously considering it for lvl 18 feat though..

If you want to use Madstone boots you need extend (to keep DF, AS and to a lesser amount Zeal going).
EDIT: Not so much on Mod9, at 20th with the new durations (all same as Zeal is currently)

It comes down to loss of DPS.

Which costs less DPS?
Having to recast all my buffs mid combat but getting Khopesh DPS
or
Not having to recast and using a slightly less effective wep.

IMO go for Extend over Khopesh.

While fighting a raid boss, recasting DM each min, hitting ExSmite an checking for recharge, poss a LoH (inc other party members) and timing my DF, AS and Zeal with Madstone is enough to keep me occupied.

I took Extend at 15, but I don't have Khopesh or Power Attack....

I'll probably drop Extend in Mod 9 for one of those feats instead (and take the other as level 18 feat)... Extend is SUPER nice now (since Divine Favor is so short), but I think I can live without it with the new Divine Favor durations (plus I'm probably going pure 20 level paladin, so even unextended durations should be pretty good).
