Help design the new DDO Wiki logo!

Tired of the ugly looking blue rectangle favicon on the DDO Wiki and our ugly skin? Well, so are we!

The DDO Wiki will be getting a new skin in a few weeks that will replace the horrible one we have now. It will move back to a more traditional (although not identical) MediaWiki skin and this means there will be a big logo displayed on the top left corner similar to Wikipedia's big globe is being displayed on their pages. At the same time, we would replace our favicon to match the new logo.

Wikis are founded on the principle of people working together, each contributing as their talents allow. The DDO Wiki team, and the greater DDO Community, greatly appreciate feedback and participation in creating this new look for the DDO Wiki. As the title suggest, I don't have the skills to do this myself so I figured I could ask the community if anyone has the skills, the time and the desire to give the wiki a hand. If you have the design talent, or even just an idea for a logo that others can expand on, we would appreciate your submissions.

Ultimately we would like the logo to be DDO themed, but the rest is up for you to decide. It can be anything, from a beholder to a d20. As long as it fits into the DDO/D&D theme, it will fit the criteria. While I like Star Wars, I don't think that a light saber would make a good logo for DDO. I am sure you get the idea.

We will be accepting entries until I wake up and check the forums on July 15th, at which point I will compile all of the entries and create a poll where people can vote on the one that they like the best.

All entries must be submitted under the Creative Commons license, or in Public Domain, and must not contain an trademarked or copyrighted material of Turbine, Hasbro, Atari, Wizards of the Coast, or any other entity. You will not be compensated in any way for your submission, other than cited as a contributor.

I can resize anything that is took big. Too small, is something that is unlikely to happen. I doubt anyone would like to work with a very small picture just for the heck of it. Anyhow, anything of the size of the Wikipedia globe is fine by me (too lazy to check how many pixel that is).
