I heard a rumor that some of you are adding rep points to each others guildies just so you can neg others that you dont like. All I can say is, are you serious? What are we, in high school again? I have seen some people with quite a few points that rarely have anything to contribute to a post other than acting like an a$$. Earning your points is one thing but giving somebody points just because they are in your guild is stupid imo.

Did you really expect anything else with this system. Its only purpose for existence is for it to be exploited. It serves no function to make the forums a better place.

If you look directly to the right of somebody's forum name, there is a little green bar bro. You can add to somebody's "rep" by clicking on the little hour glass in the top right hand corner of each post. Then you select whether you want to add to their rep or subtract from it. It's basically a popularity contest for people with nothing better to do.

Actually I think I still have less than 100 posts and I've been getting rep very fast, even though I specifically ask people not to rep me!

The DEV team wouldnt be the group creating this. This is purely the website team, which obviously is bored all the time consiering all the silly changes to the forums over the last 4 years.
