I hereby grant permission for anyone to post any PM I have sent. Understand that if a reposted PM contains forum violations, the reposter will be responsible for what happens (forum rules, not mine).

    This could be interesting...

Remember the Alamo. We will never forget (9/11).

It seems to me all this excitement about "forgetting tragedies" is quite overrated and perpetuated only because you were wrong to begin with.

I grant the same permission. Though the only PMs I think I've ever been involved with were either about character builds or laughing at one particular forum poster (or two, actually... they seem to be siblings), who I'd love to share my thoughts with (but alas - the forum rules deny me).

To the extent that my PM's are not altered, everyone has my permission to use them.

i would like to extend my thoughts here. not sure how accurate it is

the people who have so far signed on the PM challenge basically are people who have nothing to hide. people who are stand by their position be it across several threads and even in the PM. these same people are also the ones who can stand up to scrutinity for they know they will not be caught backpedalling. PMs or not they stand by their word

how this world would be if every politician can be the same...
If you want to know why...

Personally, I talk so little, it's hard to find a quote from me. I think others here would run far greater risk with this kind of authorization.

Anyone can sign anything, actually doing it is quite another.

Not sure if this means anything but the term "If you have nothing to hide" was something I heard many times in the years past. Trying to put my finger on it.

I can say... while some PM's I do intend in confidence. I would not strain nor sway to keep them hidden. I am honest in what I state, in my beliefs and in any position I take. I do not hold people to think likewise or feel the same... needless to say...

not signed.....private means what it means. However with the pack mob that is very visible no matter what thread it may be seems like the line of thought for them is "if the rules hinder us to grief even more, re-write the rules to favor us" idea.
Guidelines and rules are not written in pencil, no matter how much you stomp your feet and demand. Hardly surprising from the mob who delights in shutting down others in mass.

Reminds me of a few studies I read about those types......

They were bound to form like they do....weakness being the key factor as well fear of disapproval from others. So sad really, but hardly surprising either

there have been a few times where a poster who disagreed with my views continued the subject in PMs and then later on take an entirely different approach in public forums. often, these posters will try to project an "art thy holy" attitude, frequently masquerading as some messiah or savior. worst still is they even try to incite the masses through misinterpreting what others have posted. a tiny proportion even tries to undermine the credibility of other forum goers

i feel that in such instances, PMs concerning the topic should be allowed to be shown. this is meant to troll or flame other but for the purpose of TRANSPARENCY. again i state, this is my view. what of yours?

Although I agree Private PM's are under the mercy of the cube,

but you could easily post them on a third-party site and tell your friends, IE, xanga entry or blahblah, and let the Undercouncil spread like a wildfire

Maybe so... however the question was put forward to me as with others here in this thread. Thus, as I signed and stated should anyone wish to share any PM created and sent by me... They have my permission to do so. After all by U.S. law electronic media especially on a public service is yet considered private nor protected constitutionally.

I understand you do not adhere so for yourself. That is your prerogative.

Food for thought however is : http://www.netatty.com/privacy/privacy.html.

I know all too well how much government bodies likes to poke around in private matters, a bit unsettling when individuals seem too giddy with wanting to do what government bodies enjoy doing. With the words of ..."If you don't have anything to hide..." used as some excuse for it. No thank you. @.@
