Regardless ... I have 5 greensteel bows done and I have no need for large scales now. Not at least until my 9th lvl toon gets to Shroud lvl ! By then I "should" have everything I need to make bow number 6 anyways !!

So, with that said ..

I know I could sell both scales on the Auction House ... Purchase a Bloodstone and have change left over !

BUT

Hehe I am not saying it was you !

But, I do spend alot of time selling stuff on the auction house and will only sell items when the AH is not saturated with what I am trying to sell. ( Only cause I want my Greater Bane Bows lol )

Regardless I watch prices alot for the items that interest me

For example ... I used to be able to sell Tapestries for maybe 100k if I was lucky !! Last week they sold 2 sets of 20 for 800k ... Reason being ... There was non there so I kinda got to set the price for the "Tapestry Market" per say! The good ol supply and demand rule !

Anyways with that ... I am not a Plat hog, BUT more less a smart shopper , and I have yet to see a +2 Int tome for less than 600k and a +2 Str tome for under 700k.

You are correct however that Bloodstones can sell from 600-700k, BUT very very rarly ! Usually you are looking at 800-900 for sure !

Although I am not on 24/7 and I am sure these prices DO occur. with Tomes .... Its just rare I guess. I'd like to be on when a STR tome is at that price for sure !!

Anyways, I thought from his post he said he traded both Tomes for the stone !

You're right when you are talking about AH prices. Not when you're talking about private trades through the forums. The prices here don't follow the inflated ones there. 2 tomes is a fair trade for a bloodstone here.
