Is it possible to get a more accurate voice of the players?

I agree that a series of polls would be a great way for the Devs to gauge interest from those of us that peruse the forums.

They could even make a push to get more people to vote by posting announcements on the client login screen.

I think guild housing/banking would be really cool and is something that I've wanted to see for a long time.

I'd also like to be able to 'swap skins' on armor. I've got some sweet looking +2 FP that I'd like to push over to my DT FP. That way we could all rock our own flavor without looking like a bunch of duchebag clones running around.

Visible cloaks would be cool.

Character respec would be a great poll. Who know...maybe nobody really wants this and wouldn't vote for it.

Tiered Officer membership would also be nice, but not anything I'd like before any of the other ideas listed.

Ok so I hadn't looked at this in a while but I wanted to add that for the guild banking system there should be like an officer only thing. Anyone can add items/money but only officers can distribute/remove items from the bank. This should only cause issues if the guild has a lot of officers or you don't trust your officers.

The guild housing / banking system in EQ2 is really well done.

The guilds have a tiered ranking system that ties into the guild banks and allows for a high level of access control. This includes the ability to see contents, deposit, and withdrawls. It also includes the ability to limity how much a character can withdraw per day and logs all withdrawls such that they can be reviewed by members with high enough rank to do so.

The guild housing is similiarly impressive, a variety of guild halls available based upon the guilds resources and desires and nearly unlimited decorating options.

While I doubt DDO will have have options this extensive, it does provide an idea of what can be done.

First off I would like to say that I am excited by many of the new features, and think this may help the longevity of this game. That was reassuring in itself. Yeah I wouldnt say that I agree with everything but overall, I think it shows a lot of hope.

However, I would like to know if it may be possible going forward to maybe post some polls of what exactly people are most interested in seing come out? Personally I would have loved to see guild housing which had been mentioned in the past but seems to have fallen off as a priority. Would anything like this ever be possible so we can see what people actually would be interested in most going forward?

The only truely accurate poll would be one that took place when logging into the game. Any poll on the forums is going to be heavily biased towards the most hardcore players.

That being said I would like to see:

-More classes
-More modules
-More character customization

I do not think that it is possible to get a voice of the "players" on the forums unless the developers/Turbine make it mandatory to log in one day or something. they could also make it so that in order to log in the players have to fill out a survey if not having to log in to the forums themselves.
