If NWN came out as an MMO I would probably try it as long as they used standard camera and movement mechanics. The only reason I don't play and mod NWN now is because of the camera and movement, it's just horrible.

Yeah that's my only beef with NWN2. I can't stand the camera

DDO engine + NWN setting = WIN.

I wish turbine would of taken this and made a toolset like NWN. I would rather have that then "Free to play".

The first MMO to do this will vault to the top of the list of best MMOs in history. What made NWN so special was the add-on content. Even a non-programmer like me could spend a few hours learning the toolset and create HOURS of content.

The developer could then host a webpage like NWNVault where players can upload their adventures for review by the community. The top reviewed adventures would then be reviewed by the developer for inclusion in the game.

Think about it: People would be paying the developer to develop content FOR THEM and would do 90% of the playtesting for them as well. That's huge.

Looking forward to another D&D MMO, this time in a good world setting. Hey its not Greyhawk, but at least its not Eberron!
Thanks for the long time forum user purge of Aug '10 (Sarcasm for those who don't get it)

Some of us love Eberron of course I love Greyhawk but I loath the realms so a NWN would be a no go for me.

I never got what was so special about Forgotten Realms. Always seemed like a crappy setting to me. But it's the most popular setting, so what do I know? Give me Greyhawk!

Forgotten Realms, pre the Time of Troubles was honestly a pretty good and solid setting.

Then came the time of troubles..

    Add in Psiconics..

    Followed up by DnD 3.x...

It went to heck in the handbasket with everyone coming up with new cannon content, and Marvel/DC comic ideas of bringing back dead gods.
