Nothing very new. Some days are better than others and Giant Hold is "teh suck" at times.

People that have computers that could run NASA get lag. Lag happens.

Would have to post a DXDIAG or more info about your system (OS, RAM, memory, etc.) to pinpoint whether it's a problem with your computer or Turbine's datacenter.

I lag occasionally in TOR, occasionally and not often maybe once or twice a week in the three years ive been playing ddo ive experienced lag spikes outside of gianthold. Try setting your graphics to low during quests. I will say however I know people do have lag issues quite frequently and dont doubt it, my friend who has almost the exact same laptop lags alot more than I do, im in canada and hes in the states, so location may have something to do with your problem. What country are you in?

i have a 2 grand laptop, for the first 9 months i had it my lag was fine, and then all of a sudden i hve had a few experiences where the lag was so bad i couldnt reach the end chests of some quests before having to dc due to no movement then logging back in outside the quest.


The weird part is, I can play for an hour on the highest graphical settings possible very smoothly, then the next minute (usually somewhere around part 4 of shroud or stepping into hound or vod of course) even on very low seetings i cant se my charcter move and all my spells are being cast 5 seconds later, and then later on im back to normal

I dont know if those would be considered lag spikes, or something is breaking on my computer hourly for about 20-30 min

u just met the turbine difficulty setting sir that is all. without lag the quests would b to easy to run and people would complete them without failure, so the lag introduces an experience that causes chaos and removes the certanty from a raid. i mean i'd hate for people to complete the enforced grinds easily that would just make the game far far to short and simple.

i get a few hiccups, but havent had that debilitating lag in a long time.
