Ok Turbine, you may not be saying much, but we are a rescourcefull bunch, and information is available, some non factual assumptions thus far are:

MOD IX is essentially done.
You are currently working on MOD X
There is pressure from above about the release of MOD IX from a force outside turbine
This pressure is either from the creator of Eberon saying MOD IX does not fit with his world views, or
This pressure is from Wizards trying to force DDO into 4th ED.
MOD IX is planned with a re-release of DDO to try to work on the player population.

The lack of Something is very disconserning to the player base, so my proposal is give us Something, the PRE's, the new named weapon drops that are pre L 16, or concrete information. Turbine, we are here to help and really need to feel involved in this holdup, more so than a modivational poster contest that could go on for months.

Reallt Turbine, if we cant have MOD 9 repackage us up a goodie package with everything that you can possible release and call it 9.01, and well calm down for a bit

The second reason seems highly unlikely to me. I've heard another theory, though, that merits inclusion in that list. It's that DDO will be released on consoles, and Microsoft (or maybe Sony) is demanding that Turbine delay the release of Mod 9 to coincide with the announcement of the console version.

To me that would make no sense, if it were true.

Microsoft has aleady done their big e3 news conference, no Turbine or DDO mentioned, if it was coming out this year it would have been there.

I thought it was some sort of faint whispering fairy tale that the Dev's made up to fool the player base into hope.


But I do agree with CIuB. Turbine should really be honest and open with the player bunch - if something is happening we would like to know about it, and we do not like being left in the dark and ignored!
