Default Mac An Donais! - I missed it...

Oh, … Was quite an interesting thread, you all had my attention, "He did, She did, I did and you did not?"…

Sentiments of the player base shadowed in greed as of late or so least seems to me. My own viewpoint is it bad sport to quit even when facing utter defeat.

I was 10 maybe 11? Yes a tomboy, we were playing football, I tended goal, Our team loosing miserably, harassed and ridiculed I got into a fight with a boy on the other team, the game broke up, then took my ball and went home. Da told me this ... loosely translated “The strong of character, competence and mind all face challenge which result in defeat and fail they eventually do … You may put it aside however to take it on the chin valorously, to shun it be a coward.” He smiled and then asked ”Did you blacken his eye?” It took me some years to understand what he meant.

This is just recreation however and there is nothing wrong however in quitting in a game… should be it a right reason as long as an understanding conveyed to those involved as to why. – That’s called consideration. Lack of consideration is what it is… and quitting for the wrong reason though is cowardly – i.e. the odds are stacked against us and I have little time – is indeed a cowardly reason - surely I believe you can give what time you’ve left at the moment. You cannot tell me should you fail that you cannot run the raid/quest tomorrow, the day after or next week. Time is what we all have – easily found, it’s in the future. Telling others you will not give them your all and that you will not stand up against the odds side by side is telling them your fear means more to you then their friendship. Yes, it’s just a game… but people in work and in play abide by like traits in life.

It is both poor sport to quit and just as poor to point error upon those you feel slighted you… sure they may have decreased the odds for success but we work or play with what we have… adjust and make due, succeed or fail it is the journey not the destination we shall remember.

I had not managed the end, but can I only guess this is in response to "that which shall not be named" as I don't want any more infraction points?

It's a shame, somthings get good and require popcorn, only to have the carpet viciously pulled from under us.

I do echo the sentiment, but sometimes being a fence-sitter has entertainment value all to itself. (myself here, not you)

    Arrow And then...

a vast quiet, an emptiness and serenity befell them all... the tranquility of the stream of time cooling the pain of strife and washing away all resentment...

    PS - It was entertaining.

Why would I stay when I can keep a couple pots and save a repair bill? I Kal Port Or'd right out with the rest of the uberleet via Mask. I'm so glad I have that thing for these special moments.

That's funny, I thought I already closed one of these once already.
