Vorpal handaxe (price check and/or trade)

Anyone know the value of a finessable vorp? Plat or large ingreds?

I was thinking of possibly trading it, but would only be interested in large ingredients, specifically scale(s) depending on the amount. Id imagine 2-3 larges might be fair depending on scales. Any takers?

its worth a little but would be worth even more if it was a sickle then more characters could use it. I dont think its worth a couple of scales but I could be wrong

Not that good, no. I would place a typical finessable vorp at 200kpp - up from there for more special ones. Work out whatever that would equate to larges.

Sold a handaxe on the AH last night for 95k after having it on there for a week and a half or so, if that's any reference. Sometimes you can get a bit more, a bit less.

I think the obvious problem is reaching your market.

I kinda have a checklist of places I check nearly always (list changes) and then a list of things I'm looking for generally that I remember more intermittently. Handaxes aren't currently on that list, unfortunately and although 95K plat really is a bargain for that one, I didn't know you'd even had it up until I saw this post. Although, edit in here...not even sure I'm interested since there's one on the AH right this second for a similar amount.

I can't see turbine enhancing it the way it should be, but searching utilities that allowed for a lot more complexity including some sort of ability where it preserved items on your wish list would make things like this incredibly easier.

The biggest problem with vorpals in general is saturation. There are just so many around that they do not fetch a high price. I did see a handaxe with a buyout recently for 50K PP and thought about buying, but didnt because I have several just collecting dust sitting in the bank. Very nice items for the price, but who needs them?

I agree, it's like the same if everyone pulled large scales and stones, they'd be worth nothing at that point.

Wow i got mine for a steal. think i paid 10k for straight +1 vorpal handaxe. 30k for a sickle (+2 of pg).

And yeah, the joint is full of vorpals. The House D vendor is loaded and the AH has 2+ pages of vorpal Dw axes. The range of pricing makes me laugh.
