I was just wondering because was thinkin of a elf monk ranger build going 10 monk and 6 ranger.

With a 15.5% increase over normal attack speed. With the testing I have done a tempest ranger is just ever so slightly slower than a windstance monk using fists. This would make him the fastest dpser.

If I get greensteel kamas I think would make this toon a great build. But I needed to know if those stacked or it would have been a mute point.

Then the Ranger 6 / Paladin 14 will chew you up and spit you out, laughing.
This build would be a very short-lived optimisation.

They do (or did at least when I played). I had a ranger pally monk splash and would switch to Kamas and wind stance for vorpal and disrupting situations. Other than those times Kamas were worthless.

And in Mod 9 tempest will still work for monks. In fact the 6 ranger 14 monk build was touted by a moderator as being the build with the fastest achievable swing rate with tempest, wind stance and using a monk weapon. Notice I didn't say anything about best DPS.
