I dont think this build will serve much purpose at all. You wont be able to hit anything, and your stats are all messed up.

Your STR is too low, your CON is way too high, and you CHA is too low.

Up your str to at least 16, and add your levels here, put your con to 16, then you will have around 26 at lvl 16, and start with at least a 14 CHA.

It's bad that I say this but Dwarven Paladin-Fighter = Bruttus. See link below.

Proven S&B durability; Nice DPS, all the feats you'd want, and monster saves/AC and Hit points.

Just get ready to hear Raging barbarians in the PvP Pit scream in fustration (because they cannot hit you) and claim you've hacked DDO.

Or take a look at Valam's build in my sig. Bruttus is def a good build but will be missing tier 3 of Defender of Siberys which gives more ac,saves, extra point of STR and Con and a very nice 20/Epic Dr clicky but my build misses out on a feat at current cap not really a big deal though.

    Post Valam needs re-working. :)

Actually if there was an outweighing benefit to the Dwarven 18/2 I would have rolled one the day after reviewing DOS PrE. Valam is a nice build and easy to come up with, but it simply doesn't make the most of Multi-Classing a DOS Paladin.

IMO and from the concept of the Build "Abilities, Functionality and Party Benefit" points of view I'll stay with the Bruttus Build. I'll explain in detail why and where I'm coming from once you see the Level 20 Build completed.

Since Bruttus' end build is 14 Paladin, 4 Fighter and 2 Rogue; the current L16 build will get:

    Intimidate : 58
    Hit Points: 508 Un-Stanced
    UMD : 30
    +1 DEX Enhancement 2 AP's.
+ 5 AC (2 from Max DEX 7 & 3 from DOS II) therefore Stanced DOS II - Beholder Unboosted Unbuffed AC would be 72 in DTFP; and as Needed can switch to (already made) DT Leather with a 66 AC (-6 net drop)

    VALAM ---- BRUTTUS NOTES:

    STR 34 ----- 34 -- (Both considering +3 Tomes)
    DEX 22 ---- 22/24 -- (Both considering +3 Tomes and /24= at L20)
    CON 25 ---- 26/28 -- (Both considering +3 Tomes and /28 = with Mineral II Khopesh)
    INT 14 ---- 14
    WIS 17 ---- 20 -- (Both considering +3 Tomes)
    CHA 17/25 ---- 14/22 -- (Both considering +3 Tomes)

    Comparison Recap:

    A - Armor Class:
    * Valam has an AC that is Greensteel dependent so -4 applies if you ever want to use a GreaterBane; Vorpal; Disruptor; Paralyzer; Cursespewer, etc...... Of course you could go without ChaosGarde Bracers and use the Leviks set at a -3 AC cost.

    * Depending on DOS PrE you may or may not be able to get all the DEX benefits you jotted down because on Llamania I hav DOS II and y total MAX DEX from Defender shield was +1.... just fyi. Therefore your entire build will be capped at a 5 max DEX if this is the case at Mod 9 Launch.

In an Apples to Apples AC comparison Valam 71 / Bruttus 72 (66 in Evasion Armor)
(and yes I have a Min II +4 AC Khopesh and CGardes to swap if I ever want to)

    B - Feats:

1 Extra Feat in Favor of Bruttus. (Extend is a must IMO and due to choice of Force of Personality the Will Save is also a consideration)

    C - DPS:

Needless to say (and it has been beaten to death) that Khopeshes will out DPS a Dwarven Axe (Even Min II) and the fact that Improved Critical is being dumped, then the non GS weapon DPS is going to be severely hindered.

    D - "Value" factor:

Unlike the previous comparisons, this one is a subjective one and I can identify the following differences (Values) in each one. Stat differences are almost non-existant and actually Favor Bruttus if you really want to fine-comb it.

    Bruttus: More Hit Points; Same (or Higher) Saves; EVASION as needed; Higher DPS; same UMD and greater Aggro generation. (Cleave);

Valam: +6 Higher Intimidate; Higher Blocking DR; 1 additional and more effective LOH's.

I think this sums it up.... gotta run to a meeting...will check if I left anyhing out later.

I would def agree your build has its strong points. Mine is a decently self sufficient intmitank pure and simple. As far as the greensteel goes i don't ever switch it unless im tanking arry then i use a transmuting great axe soon to be a min2. On occasion I do use a vorpal but that is rare. Most of my friends run high dps toons and as a result most trash mobs die really quick from nothing but dps. I built my pally for intimidating and shield blocking so if the op wants something more along those lines i would highly recommend Valams build otherwise Bruttus is a very nice build for a part time intmitank (only say part time since i assume you don't shield block as much as i do).

I rarely shield block; do it only when the Party requires it as I usually intimidate to gather Mobs around me and Cleave, DS and ES 'em.

The High DPS'rs have to come to me for any action they are after. (Of course those fast and annoying Barbarians beat me when their Healing-Umbilical-Cord is attached.)

I'm assuming you enjoy your coffee while you hit the "block" key.
