    Default reaver tank

ok gotta get this off my chest, im sick of people insisting they tank the reaver and dont know how to do it. the key to being an uber reaver tank? bring a ranged weapon. its that simple. hit him with a ranged weapon when the party is tossed up into the air and you will not loose his aggro. then he will not run to the casters and their fw's hiding in the cubby. it is amazing how many main tanks don't know this or employ this simple tatic.

How about if the casters come out of the cubby so the main tank can reestablish aggro?

Crazy talk, I know. Those delicate casters can't handle being outside the cubby with their 150HPs

Actually if you keep him in the right spot, the SW corner with his back to the wall and during fly move yourself over to the Western Center Pillar and fall on the west side of it you will end up right in front of him and can begin hitting him immediately.

coming out of the cubby is extreamly helpfull, but it should never be an issue. only time i ever loose reaver aggor is when a "helpfull" ranger is out dps-ing my pally with the dwarven thrower when we are up in the air.

Actually, the caster isn't necessarily under the arch... it's the fact that they cast their Walls of Fire right in front of it. As soon as the Reaver agros on the people under the arch, he crosses the walls and switches agro to the caster.

For some reason, people get their panties in a bunch when the caster is "tanking" the Reaver, so I have begun casting the fire to the right of the blue shield... still within range of the main tank for the clerics, a pillar to ride up and down, and no arch for people to hide under.

Op - good advice on the ranged weapons. Thanks!
