So, I'm guessing that posting my character name is NOT a good idea.

Post it. They are asking you to check 'junk mail" because of the following:

Your mail has two tabs CONFIRMED and UNCONFIRMED

UNCONFIRMED is considered junk mail by some. CONFIRMED is where the mail from those on your friends list or your own alts go. UNCONFIRMED is where plat spam and anyone not on your friends list would go. In order to make sure you received mail these players are suggesting they wish to send to you... you will need to check the Unconfirmed tab (or junk mail) in order to receive it.

I hope that clears things up

I sent you a private message. I really appreciate the help!!

By the way, when I played last ... about 3 years ago, this type of bow was a big deal. Is it still a good bow to get ?

it's still a very good bow to have, but you can get one fairly easily. The church of the cult is one of the few quests in the game that has a high static reward drop rate. If you ran it 4-6 times, I'd bet you would just get one.

Not such a bad idea actually, as you can squelch anyone who bothers you there like you can here, but in this case it looks like people are just offering to help you out.

Also, Gornn is one of the good guys and I am sure he just wanted to know who to send some nice 'welcome back to DDO' items to...

If I were you, I would send him a PM too.

    Default Wanted: Silver Bow

I keep forgetting that the maturity level is a bit higher in this game then in most.

    Ok.

I JUST got the drow opened and made a ranger/rogue.

    character name is Wiffleball.

My total gold on all characters combined is about 5,000, I saw a bow for 50,000 but I added up all my items and I could not sell enough stuff to afford it. My highest level character is a 5 almost 6 cleric.

Check your junkmail. You should be able to buy some decent stuff on the ah now.

But, if you need to buy wands or whatnot (cure serious), just send me a message on the forums or go to GTAR (he stands in front of the mailbox in Marketplace instance 1) of Qwijymart. He's a player that runs a little store. It'll save you so much cash in the long run.

    Welcome back!

    OH MAN.

Just got off the Krothos Island and went to the mail box. WOW. That is all I can say. Yes. I can now buy the bow and not sell all my stuff to get it. I cannot use it yet... I figured it would take a long time to be able to afford and thought I would put out feelers early.

    Thank you very much Gornn.

If any one has a silver Longbow and wants to sell it please let me know.

    Thanks again Gornn.

I got 150 healing potions by going doing the first part of the quest in the starter tavern ... the chest behind the bar has 2 starter potions and it only takes a few minutes to do that part and then I would recall out.

so, I'm good there. Than you for the offer to help!

Ya dude it is definitely a kick ass bow! I have found silver arrows, Silverbow, and a Bloodstone to be the best way to "fight through the blades" in part 4 of shroud. Just push the many shot button and watch the red numbers fly!

Thank you so very much ...

I am at work now (work nights) and could not remember your character's name. I remember sending you a reply and thinking "that's an interesting way to spell that word" about your character's name.

Thank you very much for the Bow and the dagger and sword and plat. I noticed right before logging that the dagger is level 4.

That is great. I can use it next level. I'm going to buy some armor. I'm using some +1chain I got as treasure and I'm sure I can buy something better.

Do I need to be a level 6 ranger to use two weapons or can any level 6 use 2 weapons with a minus to hit?

Because I am a level 1 rogue and level 2 ranger.

Well. I believe I have a great start and should be able to do well in the game.

My wife is now teasing me because I went in a woke her up to tell her about the stuff I got from you guys.

That must be it. I did not level up to 3 because I left the "Build" at work and could not remember if I was supposed to take a level of ranger or rogue. It was ranger. So, I have not leveled up to 3 (level 2 ranger). I will do that tonight/this morning when I log on. I have not found a shield yet, and till now, could not buy one, so I have only been using a rapier and no shield. A second wepon will rock!!
