Default Blade: Hunter of the Dead.

This build is based off of the character Blade in the movies. The intention is to be paladins answer to the TWF Ranger tempest.
He is designed to be twf rapier build with UMD. high AC (62 self buffed modest raid loot) with good DPS and excellent burst DPS and Evasion. The build uses 4 +1 tomes uses at level 1 and a plus 2 tome from either a drop or favor grinding to 1750. The plans are to use Hunter of the dead III once mod 9 rolls out. Suggestions welcome. Discusss critique, enjoy.

Edit: fixed 1 very minor mistake.

I actually have a version of this capped already, except for being halfling, the stats are pretty similar.

A suggestion, is to take monk levels at 7 and 8, this lets you take twf at 1 and itwf at 6.

Feats- (TWF and Finesse can be taken at 1 or 3)

    1-TWF
    3-Weapon Finesse
    6-ITWF
    7-Toughness (Monk)
    8-Pwr Atk (Monk)
    9-Imp Crit
    12-GTWF
    15-Extend

You might like weapon finesse on a dex build.

Thanks for your post. I looked at 32 point hafling and made a very good build also. Went drow because it fit with the character theme better and really wanted to use rapiers for the expanded crit range with exalted smite and the drow rapier enhancements to offset not having OTW. Lastly I thought i heard somewhere that GTWF at low levels had little or somewhat of a negative effect? Not sure about that though.

I guess skill focus UMD for weapon finesse. will have to take the hit on my umd for now.

SF:UMD is kind of overkill on this build. I started my Halfling at 14 Cha and his UMD is still pretty frickin good.

OTWF is also overkill on this build. I did not take it, and my to hit with dual rapiers buffed (GH, Haste and Divine Favor) is a bit over +30.
