+2 GT SS GUB Price Check Please

Hey,

I pulled a +2 Ghost Touch Shortsword of Greater Undead bane in the shroud.

I think it may even be Flametouched metal but cant really remember. It has really dark colored metal though.

What can that fetch oon the AH you think, or is it just vendor fodder.

If it is Flame touched, wouldn't it work good on the Skellies in the orchard?

It is not fodder but I don't believe it is worth a ton either. The GT of GUB is very nice because it is basically a universal undead weapon even at higher levels where the undead constantly save versus disruption. The fact that it is piercing takes away from its value since most undead have dr against these types of weapons.

You see I would not hve thought of that. i was thinking that SS are somewhat sought after b/c of the drow benifits but i had not thought about he Undead/pierce/DR implictions....

I ended up selling it on AH for 550,000 Gold it sold in less than a day!! lol Probably sold it for too low....

It's a nice weapon to beat on incorporeal undead.... mostly useful on undead beholders if you ask me (otherwise, most of the time there is a firewall caster who can take care of the job). 50k pp sounds like a fair price to me.
