Based on the first splash screen on lama land, there will be specters in the upcoming MOD 9. With that said, the value of spectral gloves are going to be on the rise and i just happen to have a set that i do not need. Anyone interested ina set and what are you willing to give.

Do you know a single person who has or ever would spend 500k PP for 1 large scale? I have seen these on there for these prices, under cut those by posting large scales with buyouts at 300k PP and they never sell. Maybe I am wrong on the value, considering what you state are the prices of gloves are on the AH, but lets not say that large scales are selling for 500k PP either. Heck, we also say +2 tomes are equal to a large scale, there are 50 of them on the AH right now under 300K PP. A month ago you could get 2 large scales for INT, STR, DEX, and CON.

Let's look ahead a bit. Next MOD will have specters in the end game. I would guess that given 4 levels, the loot will be better than what we have now, making shroud item less valuable or not as dominate as they are now. Will the value of the gloves go up? YES! Will the value of shroud ingredients go down? YES! Are the gloves under valued right now compared to after MOD 9? I think I stated that right off the bat aa a yes.

That DOES have bearing on value now. Why do you think people are dumping +15 intimidate items? +8 armor bracers? Etc. Proir to every MOD things are shuffled around and DOES have an effect on value of items. If you do not take that into account your an idiot. Do you think the value of LEO bane would be very valuable if we were told that all the future mobs were going to be dragons? How would that effect GDB? It obviously has bearing.

We KNOW there are specters in the new MOD, we can all agree if end game has specters than these gloves will go up. Are you disagreeing?

But assumptions are made all the time about loot value. Does any have proof that +17 or better skill items will be in the next MOD?

lol look at the current end game content! there are super PAIN in the butt specters in the abbot that not only kill the hell out of you, they also steal your precious SPz, and they are also invisible. you dont throw an army of spectral glove shod fighters at them, you cook them in a firewall and ...well thats pretty much the end of it.

you also want to look at the current ratio of incorporeal mobs to corporeal mobs. now, im completely making these numbers up here, but lets say we are at a 1-40 ratio with all of the current content. well when the new mod comes out and we get a few army's worth of corporeal foes and a few incorporeal guys with them, the fake ratio could be as low as 1-100 or, hell, even 1-101 with respect to the new content. they are used less, and valued less because i said so.

the main point here is to understand that fire works on such a vast majority of incorporeal mobs, that even now, the gloves are absolutely not necessary, and a luxury. if the value of the gloves were to go up, there would need to be a serious upheaval in the way we handle incorporeal mobs. if firewalls (and im using firewalls as a blanket term for caster AOE spells) no longer hurt specters, and there was no other reasonable way to kill them besides using spectral gloves (or ethereal bracers), the playerbase would be angry as all ****. besides, its pretty stupid to think that anyone with half of a half of a half of a half of a brain would design a raid with an insurmountable challenge, or a challenge that assumes the presence of a random drop from a less than popular quest series.

So what you're saying is the 10 sets I have sitting in the bank are worth 30 Lg Scales.. Not likely... I'm not sure I'd palce that high of a vlue on them.. And Lg scales do sell for 500-600k P I've sold a few in the last month for that... The gloves I've sold have been getting 400K, but that was last month.
