Nice time!
There was a 18 minute screenie floating around, fastest on all servers to my knowledge. Not far off.

it is in the achievement section.
Circle of Night did a 29 minute run for our one-month anniversary. It wasn't a true speed run, it was just a "don't screw around" run but we were pretty happy with 29 minutes and no deaths. It took us about 30 seconds into the second round to kill Arraetrikos in P4 so that slowed us down a bit. A one-rounder would have been sweet but I've only been in one one-rounder.
In a speed run, I'm assuming you solve puzzles in part 3 for the 2 chests instead of just opening doors and running water as fast as possible, right? I don't know how much faster it is to open doors vs. solving puzzles but I guess it depends on how many lock pickers/knockers you have.
I think we wasted the most time in Parts 2 and 5 because we didn't change our tactics from the normal technique to a faster technique. We cleared, peeked, pulled, in Part 2 and we kited/pulled/killed the lieutenants one at a time in Part 5.
Khyber and Thelans both have 16 minute runs (as far as I know on Thelanis they skipped water chest, on Khyber when we had our 16 minute run we got all chests). I am not sure if our Euro friends have a better time, as they hold the elite record. It is a bit easier to do on the euro servers though, much better network infrastructure and a lot less lag.
29mins is still a nice run!
Heres how I tend to treat a speed run:
(NO looting, period.) Go back at the end to loot.
No shrining until part3, (execpt casters if needed)
Party make up:
1 cleric
1 bard
1 caster(dont really need 1)
9-10 DPS depending on if you want a caster.
Part1:
I divide the party up into 2 groups, 1 group goes ahead 1 portal all the time, the rest of the group does the norm, caster floats around and keeps mobs down, bard and cleric float between groups as needed.
part2:
Drag most mobs to south, when most are dead, drag 4 named to south west, any ele was going to be handled by 2 rangers in the south east. caster gets crystal.
part3: Everyone solves there own puzzle, EVERYONE runs water, no one pikes in middle.
part4: the normal, we got Harry in 1 round, no deaths and had a good 30secs left of the round, blades were just getting to us as harry died.
part5: the normal, 1 person kites, rest killed 1 at a time then right on to Harry, caster does clouds then nukes, cleric heals from pool.
In our run our cleric, Carmen(whom many know as Issssssa) only had to drink 1 pot thoughout the whole raid! was a great run and everyone followed directions very well, maybe 6 to 8 pugs, was a last min idea to speed run it, so we didnt build the group for it really...just kinda happend lol, I do look forward to breaking that 16min time...

Going to be trying to break the 16min record on Wensday, the 20th at around 7pm **est**.
