I'd like to also chime in with ...
Kobold (kobold NPCs are all over Stormreach)
Dragonborn (awesome flavor race, really no different than the sentient golems we can already play)
Tiefling / Aasimar (the story line in the game is already heavily influenced by the planes)
Wyestone and Juuts on Cannith.
I'd like to see more of the Eberron races playable. Particularly any of races unique to the setting, as well as dragonmarked races and races with their own kingdom in the campaign setting:
Shifters
Changelings
Kalashtar
Half-Elves
Gnomes
Half-Orcs
Orcs
Goblins
No. The world could go to Khyber for all he cared. He just wanted her back.

I really don't get why so many people want half-elf. We already have two different kinds - do we really need 3/7 races to be of elven heritage?
My votes are for:
1. Kobold. Already in game, and would be very very fun to play as.
2. Half-orc. PHB creature, and would add some more "gruff" flavor to the lineup.
1. Dragonborns
2. Half-Orcs
3. Rakshasas/Catfolk (something feline would be fab)
4. Tieflings
5. Shifters/Changelings

Gnomes and Goliaths. Goliath might not translate well and might be too powerful (and are a level-adjusted race anyway), though.
So since goliaths might not fit well, that leaves only one choice. Gnnnoooommmmmmeeesssss.

"When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown-up."
well you already have my number 1 in game Warforged But here we go anyways.
1) Changelings - They are an Eberron race in PnP and really just an interesting race over all. While lack of ploymorph would gimp them a little bit they could add some nice play styles. If there race prestige classes got mixed in as enhancements that would also be nice (oh Spellshaper fun time).
2) Shifters (by breed or breeds as feats/enhancements ) - Another Eberron race. I think something more feral is missing in the game as it is. Adding the shifters would mix things up a bit.
3) Half-Orcs - A 3.5 base race that I'd like to see for the same reasons as Shifters DDO needs some feral burial fun.

1) Goblins. Goblins have an interesting role in Eberron since they are considered a "civilized" race whereas in other campaign settings they tend to be low level adventure fodder (like how we treat Kobolds in DDO). Goblins are can be sneaky, dangerous little buggers--exactly the kind of creature you don't want to see adventuring in your dungeon! I think we can all agree that Halflings are lonely being the only little race.
2). Shifters. Shifters are another important Eberron race left out of DDO. Shifters have lycanthrope ancestors (so they are not true lycanthropes) and can "shift" into a hybrid humanoid/animal form a certain amount of times per day. Just imagine what a weretiger shifter ranger would be like!
3). Half-Elves--another important Eberron race which was left out of DDO. Half-Elves have the Mark of Storm and make the best airship pilots. They had pretty underpowered racial abilities in D&D3.5e, but I think the Devs could fix this through the creative application of racial enhancements.
The nerfing will continue until morale improves!
I believe hes referring to the ritual form the dragon book that came out for 3.5 not the dragonborn race from 4e core.
The ritual based dargonborn would have issues in the setting becuase they are basicly reborn of other races. Though I guess it could be a reincartion only race to make it fit. While the 4e core ones are just that a normal race.
I agree though having a once a day dragon breath and a vary unique look would make them a fun race to add to the setting. In 4e they add to them as being a race that mostly stays on argo with all the normal dragons having city states and a few small settlements in the 5 nations. I'd totally roll up a Dragonborn paly if they ever came out.

3. Half-Orc the ultimate barbarian. Rude and crude a fun race to play.
p.s. side note hear I want to fight goblins. kobolds are ok but goblins spawned all the other goblin kin that we fight already in ddo. Bring in the trap happy goblins who want to steal everything and conquer the world.
1-Tiefling, one of my favorite characters was a Tiefling rogue/warrior, his idea of disarming traps on doorways, find someone short and through them through.
2- Half-Elf Just love them, love em more then any other elven race, even (maybe even especially) the drow.
3- Gnomes, who doesnt want to gnome punt, or gnome bowl, or gnome toss? They were a core race.
- Genasi (air, fire, earth and water)
- Half-orc and half-elf
- Aesimar and tiefling
1- Half Elf
2- Half Orc
3- Shifter/Kalashtar (Depends on which new class we will have. Shifters for Druids, Kalashtar for any psionic class)
1) Half-Orcs
2) Half-Elves
3) Gnomes
VERY basic requests I'm thinking.
On a side note, Teiflings and the Angelic Alternate are good races to consider as well considering they are already present in the game!

If we shrank our solar system to the size of a Quarter, and lay it at your feet, the Milky Way galaxy would still be larger than North America. ~NASA Perspective anyone?
I'd love to see the rest of the PHB races: Half-Elf, Half-Orc and Gnome. Along with the rest of the
Eberron specific races: Kalishtar, Shifter and Changeling, Psiforged and the Daelkyr Half-Bloods. And
some personal favorites are: Bugbears, Kobolds, Goblins, Dromites (psionic humanoid bug thingies
that live underground in Sarlona) and Gnolls.
half orc, thats all i care about atm
