Lets see.. 15000 pots say an average of one pot per quest, 1 quest every 20mins. This works out to 6hrs of play a day for nearly 2 and a half years, with no breaks between questing, and never using any of them.

That is a ridiculous number. I use maybe 2 a month across my whole account, and i still only have like 50 total.

That is still acquiring about 15 pots a day since head start, and until the level cap went to 14, majors were not that common. I think there is probably a different explanation.

2 iam that dude u see on the ah putting things way way over priced ( they still sell believe it or not
3 when gianthold came out i collected stacks and stacks of scales and always put them up on ah did this until i had so much plat on all my toons i actually had to leave cash in the mail box because i was capped,also sold rare hard to find items too.when i finely bleed this dry i started buying sp pots on the ah and on the forums before the merge on aundair i had 10,000 when we merge with khyber. i think i was paying anywhere from 6k plat to 10k plat. when we merged (and this is the sweet spot) some dude on the ah was putting 10 20 50 and 100 stacks of major pots and i was buying them up in truck loads and when i went broke i repeated the whole cycle over again and when shroud came out omg devils scale rampage!!! just recently that dude on the ah stopped putting pots up and the price went off the chain like 5stacks for 125k plat lol ..Anyways iam somewhat broke tried of shroud runs and the small med. and larges all suck for selling now ;/ and i want some cash for the new mod

That beeing said iam not sure what how when agent X (the dude selling the major pots) got the pots but if something is put on the ah how am i suppose to know if it was obtained legal ? for all u know some guild could require everyone to turn in all major pots to the guild, and the guild leader sells them

I know health paid me good money for at least 200 of his 15,000 pots, I doubt he directly was involved in any duping.

I doubt he is going to sell them all at once.

Sounds like a reasonable explanation. So effectively you are using stacks of mana pots to store your wealth. Makes sense.
