"Actually, if you are doing this alone it is best to destroy the bottoms and mostly prepare the tops. The pillar always falls in the direction of the last melee hit on the pillar's bottom.
Before module 8 the best plan of attack was to stay in the rafters to line the titan up wherever you wanted him on the ground, break a pillar from the top, and quickly drop down to the laser to fire. Now in module 8 the titan doesn't move if no one is on the ground floor. You now have the luxury to stand by the laser console once he is in position and break the tops with a thrown weapon at leisure."
I found this quote from MrCow on the achievement forums. I have been in several Titan recently that have failed due to odd Titan movements and wondered if anyone had done/tried this to increase chances of success?
