AH Posting Escrow

In an effort to get the postings on the AH under some sort of control, as inflation there goes completely freaking nuts, I would suggest that there should be a posting fee of the difference between minimum bid and item value held in escrow at time of posting. *If* there is a bid on the item then the seller would get that posting fee returned. If not, the fee would go to the coin lords.

The point being to minimize the ludicrous postings on the AH, and create actual auctions.

Would that be in addition to the AH fee?

It might be okay, but some things are more rare than others....if there were maybe a way to factor that in as well. The price of the item (as listed on the item description) does not reflect the rarity of the item. I hope I'm making some sense here...

Good idea, but you cant use the nominal "item value" for it. the nominal item value the game assigns and the vendors pay you has absolutly nothing to do how usefull and so how much the true worth of an item is.


For example i´d make the proposal to use 10% of the minimum bid of the weapon instead.
