So I was thinking of some nominal classification for goblinoids in the style of the Lynnaean system...

Goblinus goblinus
Goblinus hobgoblinus
Goblinus horribilis
Goblinus orcas

I particularly like the one for the Bugbear. Any thoughts?

This site can be a beacon of hope for Half-Orc fans. Albeit that beacon is a giant flaming eyeball atop a dark tower!

What do Orcs drink?

Was there a Grog or a Bloodwine?
Or was it the Black Drink (The Florida natives drank a Black Drink!).

I always thought that Orcs/Halforcs and hobbies will drink **** near anything.

There was a guy I knew who had a Half orc fighter that had a 3 intel and 18(00) str. (note old str #'s lol).
He had a brahma bull to ride and a bag of dead rats to eat while on road trips. And the guy would role play to a T!

The one thing missing from this game I would say is a that players seem to be too serious.
How about a little more role playing and less roll playing?

Yes, I agree more role-playing is needed...
At the very least write something in your character bio and use your emotes!

I played a Half-Orc fighter in 2nd Edition that was raised by Dwarves.

Doombanger Deafknees.

The Dwarves were always shouting at his knees, being seven feet tall. So he got the name Deafknees.

Doombanger was an awesome roleplaying scene where we were starting out and the other players were starting out, all dwarves, and I hit my head, fell over, caused a big huge boom, causing the entire dwarven hold to prepare for war thinking the mountain was coming in on them.

Half-Orcs rock.

love the pignoses. onetusk was my assassin/cleric, and while our dm was very liberal with the rules he would still not let me dual wield a flail and a bastard sword. always hated him for that.

if ever they let us have them in game, lookout.

i am having a hard time thinking of what melee build in DDO would not be better off as a half orc...

The porcine snouts and boar-like tusks! Yes definitly features of our beloved Orcs.

With Half-Orc characters, I was always more inclined to give them a mohawk, or tattoos or something wild of the sort.

Have to say I love the other game's Orcs.

I remember my one and only Half Orc character. He tried his best to follow the Bushido Code. It was a strange campaign based off 'Oriental Adventures' book. He was Lawful Neutral following the orders of his Diamyo as best he could.

He never removed his Mempo (armored face cover) because he knew as soon as he did he would be feared and hated. He was a fun character to play, lots of conflict and lots of prejustice.

Sadly he was killed in an epic battle defending a town that hated him.

I would not only roll up a half orc the day they came out... I would pay to unlock it, what ever it took.
