I too have been waiting for years for them to add the Half-orc and not is the perfect time to do so. Come on dev's lets do it now...you already have have some artwork done (with the full orc mobs), finish it up and lets get this going already!

That said, I'm looking at my very first half-orc character sheet from AD&D right now. Grumach Hardhand was a level 8/9 Fighter/Assassin, Neutral Evil, created on 01/01/1987. Man, I'm old.

18 Str, 12 Int, 9 Wis, 17 Dex, 17 Con, 8 Cha
Gauntlets of Dexterity, a Ring of Prot. +3, and a whip +1. (Wow, that was a low-magic campaign.)

pick pockets - 70%
open locks - 67%
remove/find traps - 60%
move silently - 70%
hide in shadows - 56%
hear noise - 30%
climb walls 98%
read language 45%

AC of -1 (which I can't even figure out now looking at the sheet), and 67 hit points!

obviously he forgot to put exceptional str. which is weird because he would be playing 1st edition rules, or early 2nd edition, he would have rolled him up as 1/1 fighter/assassin and with an 18, he would have had a percentile roll for exceptional str, such as 18/35. so i dont know how that could be accurate.

Original had AC9, and a max AC of -9. (Chainmail, the three books from the Box, Greyhawk, Blackmoor, Eldrich Wizardry, GDG+Heroes).
ADD had AC 10, etc.

So, an AC -1 would be AC 21 today (20 if Original)....which seems MUCH tougher in PnP than it does in DDO. My toons with AC 43 are wimps.

Comrade, I believe the orc gods are called Gok and Mok.

The Orcs primary deite was Grummush.

Several other gods included a god of strength.

A god of disease.

...and a god of darkness?

They appeared in a Dragon magazine, and it was latered reproduced in a gold covered compendium of Dragon mags.

Anyone remember the gods?

I have outright refused for four years to roll a barbarian. If I am gonna do it it has to be the ugliest, dumbest race on the continent. Or at least a halfbreed of that race right?

BTW Turbine/Fardando/Whoeverisrunningtheshow Half-Orc should be FREE no Turbine points, no favor. Just free. Show us you are capable of doing something simply because you give a **** about your players and want the game to be fun. We've paid years of subs waiting for this to happen, sat through stagnant periods between broken mods for up to a year at a time. WE'VE ALREADY PAID FOR IT. Thanks.

Also!, Role playing a half orc is Freeking hilarious because u can go around being like "HULK SMASH1!!!!!" and the town would forgive u because u have 6 int =D XD
