Nope, sorry Kinar, I wasn't talking about what you had posted. In fact, my room mate, plays a very similar finesse halfling cleric/monk (Fanatik) as her main, with just a few gear and feat alterations. Really a fun build.

Ok, fine, but don't sell that build as a cleric. You won't be able to heal while tanking (no quicken), you won't heal for much (no Emp Healing / Maximize / Empower), your Blade Barriers will be nigh useless, and you'll have SR problems on top of it.

That build is a TWF Khopesh user with a 1500 SP buffing pool and between-fight healing and substandard DPS.

Face it, unless you know right where you want to end up with a build like this is, it isn't a good option, most people can't play a "battle cleric" for they don't know what one is. I'd suggest playing with a real "battle cleric" on your sever there Chadman, I have a feeling your on G-Town so let me offer a few names of people who do a great job at playing a "battle cleric". I have one, Comfortably, The best on our sever (IMO of course are), off the top of my head:Nightward,Rocka,Lantwo...I'm sure there are a few more if I logged in and looked at my friends list.


Edit: Just note that those names I listed they are not 14cleric/2monk builds, but there are IMO, all great battle cleric builds depending on what you want to do with said cleric build.

As far as the 14/2 thing goes I'm rolling three right now, I'd never take any into actual melee combat except maybe the halfling because in the end she has the best ac twinked out. I started her with more dex and just ended with a higher ac with all the same gear.

As far as just overall best I'm throwing my chips in with the dwarf Comf dropped earlier. I rolled one of his up a while back when he was picking fun at me for having a halfling evasion cleric. Yea my saves against traps/fireballs is higher than his total but he gets a sicker hp/sp pool over mine..

Halfling - 472 HP - 1472 SP
Dwarf - 523 HP - 1714 SP

I'm not a huge fan of tons of SP anymore though due to the general abundance of mana pots so that's up to you but to honestly go out there and melee something and drain your entire sp bar just to stay alive? Screw the cleric part of your build, take some dragonmarks of healing and go full ac or something, there's no point.
