    Default Bane Weapons Suggestion

One thing that would be nice:

Incorporate weapon qualities into bane weapons, so that they bypass standard defenses of the monster type. It just seems odd to pull a greater chaotic outsider weapon that doesn't bypass most chaotic outsider's defenses, or an ooze bane weapon that is destroyed in 3 swings against an ooze.

These could even be graduated, so that the number of advantages increases as it progresses from lesser bane to greater bane.

Probably a difficult thing to program, but it would dramatically increase the usefulness of the weapons.

It would also be nice to see superior bane weapons.

As it stands now, the only random weapons on which ooze bane makes sense are handwraps and returning throwing hammers (not that I've ever seen the property on either kind of weapon).

I have some handwraps of greater ooze bane.

or if 'blueshine' was a metal attribute for weapons and not just tied to everbright for ooze bane.

I bet you will never part with them. That's even better than a Muckdoom, right, even for a non-Monk? I wonder if Turbine will ever make handwraps susceptible to ooze acid.

I also still wonder if anyone has ever seen a returning throwing hammer of any kind of ooze bane.

Time for my obligatory remark about true chaos handwraps of everbright.

That would be good. If metal armor can be blueshine, why not metal weapons?

People have been saying since day 1 that any weapon with ooze bane should be immune to ooze acid.

You are absolutely correct. Actually, they are on a character of mine with some monk levels so they work amazingly well.
