This should be our last Full Moon Party at our unofficial guild headquarters before the airships.

Allies and Enemies may join us for games and PvP in the Phoinex Tavern.

This channel was originally created so that small, family guilds could experience the social network of a larger player base.

I love this alliance! What a great way to find like-minded players when forming a gorup or raid. Thanks for making this happen, it makes LFG so much better!

the alliance channel...LFM pt 2.

It's basically two things:
1. A shared chat channel that provides an extra resource to fill out a party.
2. A way to shoot the breeze during downtime with like-minded folks, outside the general channel.
... the channel is like a radio station.

there are many of us who came from small guilds that folded or just did not have enough players ...we at least could get some more groups going.

...if someone in the guild is not available or out of your range to help, please make use of this channel!...we make an attempt to help any of their members when we can and also if they ask us for help namely: items, advice, quest knowledge that we try to take time out to help them.
That' s why it is there, and many of us try to maintain and use the channel to keep it going.

Darkside is having its monthly Full-Moon Party Thursday September 23 at 7pm EST in conjunction with the holiday of Mabon.

The festivities will begin on Darkside's Airship with a Roster Purge and a salute to members no-longer with us.

The party will continue at Darkside's original guild house atop of House Deneith at House Deneith proper, here promotions will be announced with the accompanying ceremony.

From House Deneith we will head to the official Darkside watering-hole The Phoinex. Here at the tavern PvP will begin in various forms.

Other possible events include Seek! and trivia.

Prizes include some vorpals from the Emperor himself, who will make an appearance.

Darkside members are expected to equip chaos/anarchic weapons while attending.

As Darkside nears its 4 year anniversary, we will celebrate our first Full Moon Party of the year, TONIGHT!

The party will start at 7pmEST with members of the Darkside Guard and our allies from the Alliance meeting on the Darkside ship.

The Emperor himself, Lord Sicarii Darkhour, will be in attendance if you desired to meet him or other guild members.

The event will continue atop of the old Darkside Headquarters, House Deneith.
At House Deneith we will induct new members into our fold, and promote others to the Senior Officer position: Lord of the Council. Chaos & Anarchic weapons are recomended for this event, to show solidarity with our guild.

After House Deneith refreshments will be served at the Phoenix Tavern.

Quests and or a raid will wrap-up our first Full Moon Party of 2011.

Mr_Ed7, is there any chance that you'd be [interested in/willing to] change the original post in this thread to update it with the current list of guilds that are official members of this guild alliance?

I am not entirely sure anymore who our "official" members are. There are some "official" guilds and then their are some members of other guilds who like to "slum" it now and then and utilize the channel.

I have seen all types of people on the channel, yes including guilds with "Noble" or "Elite" in their names.

Please recall that this channel was created as a channel for smaller guilds to take part in the "big guild" feel. Nothing more nothing less.

Now that we are entering are 2nd year, the number of small "family" and "guilds of one" have grown.

Perhaps this channel's best strength was NOT linking people that already knew each other, but rather STRENGTHENING bonds of those that just met.

This is far from and elite, raid channel. It is meant for casual players and guilds who want to make friends.

Like anything else in life, you are going to experience personality types you do not care for. Do not play with them and squelch them if you have too.

Darkside's Monthly Full Moon Party is a SUPER MOON, that is the moon has not been this close to the Earth since 1993.

Tonight c. 7pm EST Darkside members will meet on-board the Emperor's Yacht for hordevoures and cocktails.

Dress is formal with Chaos, Anrachic and Force weapons in tow.

May I recomend the Darkside Shot (1 part Jaegarmeister 1 part Chambord 1 part Cranberry).

The party will continue at the Old Darkside Headquarters atop House Deneith for a promotion ceremony.

The monthly festivities conclude with PvP and Capture the Flag at the Phoenix Tavern.

You may then return to your regularly scheduled quests.

I still use this and chat with others, or jump in when they are doing something i am interested in. If you don't like this, then don't join. Its that simple. The negative comments are funny to me. Who cares how long a dungeon takes. If your having fun its good if your not then its not. I have had a blast in raids where we have wiped for stupid reasons, and been bored sh**less in ones that have gone perfect.

not everyone plays the way you, or I want to play. The more options the better. I solo a lot, i pug low levels, I love to grind out 5000 kills in the Orchard, 10k kills in Vale. So this isn't your play-style. Oh well.

I'm totally with ya skunk. I agree 100%. Been playing this game too long to complain or try to make others have a bad day. If were not playing the game to have fun, and it is a game, then what are we doing?
