suggestion : Allocating chest items to anyone

Often when I dont want stuff, i'll allocate it to some random person

but it would be beter to allocate it to nobody.. or anyone.. so anyone can choose.

Or something that initiates a d20 roll, indicates results, and automatically assigns the item to the winner.

While I'm all for new ideas, I'm not sure this one will make it past the inevitable "use voice or party-chat to ask if someone else wants it" suggestions.

Now, if there were a button to automatically assign all the loot to me, well...

Regardless of whether it makes it past that ... it should ... I have wanted an "Anyone" option since they added the ability to assign. When my pack is full, why would I want to bother people on voice/party chat with "anyone really poor and want my trash loot so they can stop panhandling for beer ... er um food" It be much easier and more polite to just put it to "Anyone" and be done.

I think this is a pretty good idea, however not sure if rolls should be viewed. Some people may inevitable believe that their rolls are always low. Obviously, if it's a quality item that more then 1 may want, then a public roll may be wise. If only to prevent the bickering about which toon could use an item appropriately.

It'd even be nice if you could turn on a UI option that made it so anything you LEAVE in a chest when yuo leave it, that you didnt allocation to somebody specific or take yourself is automatically marked for ANYONE to grab it
