How do I get a persistant copy of my combat log?

I would like to have a text copy of my combat log at the end of a run. As it is now, right now I just have a LIFO copy which I can only look at for a minute or two after a combat situation. I realize the text file would be large, but no more so than various server logs, so it would be manageable with various UNIX text file utilities.

Is there anyway to get that?
