    Default Caster Gear

    Hey,

Having never played a caster, I would like to know what casters use/need for the following levels. I usually just sell anything that is Sup P, Devotion etc etc etc....And, what is more desirable on what type of item.

    Lvl 1-6
    Lvl 7-12
    Lvl 13-16

Just curious as to what is good for these levels so I can give it away, sell etc.

    Thanks!

I'm sorry Svetlana, but I cannot reply with anything useful until you toss out an insult to gornn or his noobish status.

figured someone would post by now, basically you want to keep all of potency items (improved 30%, greater 40%, and superior 50% increased damage) that you find that are better than what you've got and preferably a one handed item if possible as you will want to have potency in one hand and another enhancing item in the other such as spell penetration in the other. You need to look at the min level requirements to give you and idea of what you can use. For example a +3 superior potency IV scepter will work on all level 4 damage spells and lower. Basically, depending on what the + value is in the prefix determines part of the minimum level requirement, superior potency adds, as does the spell level it works on. So really you just need to be thinking about your level, what level spells you have and look at the things you run across. Race restricted items are usable one level before a non-resticted item. Often times you'll only be able to use greater or improved potency item for your highest level spells as due to minimum level restrictions. So far the highest level non-rr potency item I have found is superior potency VI so if I want increased damage for level 7 and up I need to use a greater or improved potency item.
