Heya, this'd be Dagda. My main's name is "Raendall," a level 12, my first 32 pointer after finally getting my mostly broken thief Ranger to his 1750. (But isn't that how it always is when you're experimenting the first couple times?) I've got about a year's experience under my belt, and a whole lot of experimentation with different aspects of the game (though my predominance of Halfling characters narrows that slightly. :P). Most of the questions you have I can probably answer, and I'm willing to help out any newbie with a good head on his shoulders. I'm also the guy you'll see putting up random LFM ads for "free muck's doom" chances, after soloing the pit to the muck's doom chest. See? I'm a good guy, really!
As for the guild; I'm looking for serious players, who don't take the game too seriously. Essentially, try not to be a ****. Drama's for your own time; if you feel the need to bring it into the game, at least keep it out of the guild. However, when you're playing, remember that you represent the guild; as a result, do your best to support the party, and to keep yourself self-reliant.
That said, it would be preferable to have those who are unafraid to experiment! If you pull all your builds out of the forum's lists, you might not want to come. I'm trying for unique and interesting players, people who aren't afraid to go out on a limb.
I would prefer my players be 20 and up, as well; kids are nice an' all, but they typically don't make the best players, and the remarkable amount of drama they drag everywhere is a pain. Not to mention that as soon as you hear one on the mic, you've got that sinking feeling; we've all felt it, and that's where this comes from.
The name, essentially, is based from the idea of the calm before the storm. The guild accepts all races, all classes, and I would love to see a great variety of players.
See ya soon! Send me a tell in game, or simply post somethin' here. I'll see what I can do.
