    Default Proposal; Kensai/Juggernaut Concept

    This is a build designed for the release of the Juggernaut PrE, it also brings exceptional DPS and tactics to any party.

    looks nice. not normally a big WF fan myself but this build looks interesting. What does the combination kensai/juggernaught give you?

    noone knows yet, no info released on DDO's implementation of juggernaut

    I started rolling a WF sorc with addy body in preparation tho; no rush tho as mod 10 is likely a year away

    A crucial part of balancing the juggernaut in PnP is they get improved fortification as a free feat, which means no healing, which means healing amplification items don't do much good, not to mention healer's friend enhancements. Turbine may choose not to implement them that way, but I personally feel that is doubtful.

    Since we are getting Mass Repair I would agree, but untill it is introduced I'll take as much Healing Amp as I can.

    Also isn't Juggernaut going to be under fighter? I.e. like Stalwart Defender for dwarves being under fighter, or Arcane Archer being under Ranger? If so then wouldn't you be prevented from having it and Kensai at the same time? I.e. same way a elven ranger cant grab tempest and elven AA at the same time.

    Just a thought. I really wish they would decouple the Race PrE's from the Class PrE's.

    All other racial PrEs are also class PrEs...

    The 3rd fighter PrE is supposed to be Purple dragon knight...
    If warforged are going to get juggernaut, and its not going to count as any class PrE, I suspect that it will be very restrictive and/or have high prereqs...
    Improved fortification will most lkely be a requirement... not a free feat.

    they've already stated that jugger will count as a barb PrE for those who take it





    which is really really really confusing considering their favored class is fighter

    Default Racial PrE's

    Yeah, I would think that Juggernaut would have to be uncoupled from any of the classes, after all I couldn't very well see any other race acquire Juggernaut.

    Halfling Juggernaut anyone? I don't think so. Also, in the same post where Eladrin told us about Juggernaut he told us about another racial PrE that I can't really see tied to a class -- Dragonmarked Heir.

    I think it would be fairly safe to assume that you will be able to combine any class PrE with the racial PrE's, Juggernaut or Dragonmarked Heir, when they are finally released.

    Just my two cents.

    Possibly. However, the most famous juggernaut in Eberron lore, The Lord of Blades, does not have a single level of fighter. He is all artificer up until getting that BaB of 5 requirement.

    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

    i would not go pure ftr and kensai 3 for this if your planning to take a second prestige. you wont have enough ap. kensai 3 costs something like 15(4+4+4+2+1) AP, almost a fifth of you total AP, and 1 feat over kensai 2.

    Id really consider 12ftr/6rng/2barb for some basic barb rage bonuses which are likely to stack with juggernaughts barb stuff.

    Also consider some monk splash like 12ftr/6rng/2mnk or even 14ftr/6mnk(extra feat, stance 2 and extra action boost2 and 20movespeed, possible mnk prestige 1) or 12ftr/8mnk(extra base fist dmg, saves, and healing amp compared to 6mnk) which could possibly synergize with juggernaughts unarmed and grabble bonuses. Only take mnk if adamantine body is not a hard prerequisite for the prestige.

    I thought juggernaut was under barbarian so you might be able to take both

    I am having trouble fitting in all the action points just for Kensai, tuffness, and the capstone. Good luck getting Juggernaught in there too.

    You wanted to know about Juggernaut...that link shows you what a Eberron Juggernaut it is... and what it will "most likely" be based off of.

    Do you have a better page?

    I have all the prereqs for Kensai III listed in his Character Sheet, from there I get 16 more Ap to play around with and only plan on taking Fighter Strength III and the Capstone which leaves me with 8.

    Ditching Healer' Friend = 12Ap

    I dont mind losing a few Trip(3Ap) or Toughness(3Ap) enhancements either.

    For a net of 10 + 12 + 3 + 3 = 20-26Ap which I would assume will be enough to qualify.

    You need
    Fighter Attack Boost IV, Fighter Critical Accuracy IV and are you not taking Kensai Mastery I-III?
