VOD run, great pug party (I was leader). KO'd Suli without a prob. Defender plate drops to a cleric, he puts it up for roll. Only 2 people interested, me (16 ftr) and a pure ranger.
We roll, i lose.
I ask myself if logical for ranger to want Defender plate. I determine, no.
I now have grudge.
I answered my own question, i'm a baby.

Pure Ranger was a tard. Only way they could have justified it is if they were splash 6 ranger and did not get evasion. I would have called them on it.


Now a Ranger on Breastplate of Destruction is ok, especially on strength based.

But if he had splashed some levels as Paladin/Fighter and was STR based he could have been trying to get if for the more AC better than having Evasion times.
But slim chance, most problly greed or grieving.

I once had a WF roll against me against that FP. Said he wanted to vendor it and he should have the right to roll. I said you've got to be crazy and i looted it. (It was passed to me before he rolled... which he rolled a 100 and was ****ed when i didnt pass it to him.) I later checked as to how much it would sell for... and my barb with a 0 haggle could get 1k plat for it.... ppl are soo greedy.
