The word of the day is: MOOG

Turbine, release MOD 9 or I may have to break out Valley Girl next...

(Yeah, I'm familiar with SRV's history, but I haven't seen the vid you are referring to.)

Thanks for the links Kingfisher... very cool. Austin City Limits... lived in Texas for a bit... awesome music, awesome thunderstorms, awesome pecan pie and brisket... very scary tornadoes (I'll stick to my volcanoes, thank you very much... at least they don't MOVE) and creepy crawlies.... I have enough problems with little harmless arachnids, let alone things like scorpions and Mexican brown tarantulas...

Speaking of Texas musicians, another guitarist I dig. I like listening to him in the morning, especially on days I'm having trouble getting moving, or when I need a mood check.

Oh, and this was the first band I ever saw live... well, technically, it was the opening band I saw first and went to see, not them, but they were headlining....

Yeah Texas, or at least the part I lived in anyway, wasn't for me either, hence why I was only there a year...

Bass player is Stanley Clarke, my personal favorite bassist of all time. He's got solo albums too that just melt your brain.
